Interphase FISH Analysis for Translocations in Lymphomas

Description: 
Fluorescent in situ hybridisation analysis is recommended for the detection of translocations involving the BCL2, CCND1 (cyclin D1/BCL1), MYC, BCL6, ALK1 and MALT1 loci, detected in lymphomas. It has been demonstrated as invaluable for the diagnosis of lymphomas especially in small samples such as core biopsies and FNAs. This can be carried out in paraffin processed tissue and in conjunction with conventional immunohistochemical staining for these three proteins.
Sample type and Volume required: 
Formalin fixed paraffin processed tissue which ideally has not been decalcified in acid.
Turnaround time: 
1 – 2 weeks
Storage and transport: 
First class post within 4 days (temperature not to exceed 30°C during transport)
