ROUTINE TEST: BIO-RAD GenScreen ultra HIV Ag-Ab is an enzyme immunoassay for the detection of antibodies to HIV-1 and HIV-2 and HIV-1 p24 antigen in human serum or plasma.

URGENT TEST: The Architect HIV Ag/Ab Combo assay is a micro-particle enzyme immunoassay (MEIA) for the detection of antibodies to HIV types 1 and 2, and HIV-1 p24 antigen in human serum or plasma.

URGENT TEST: The Biomerieux Vidas HIV Duo Quick assay uses an Solid Phase Receptacle (SPR) is divided into 2 separate layers; the upper part is coated with mAb to HIV p24 antigen and the lower part enable’s the detection of anti-HIV-1 and 2 antibodies, using an HIV-1 gp160, an HIV-1 group O and HIV-2 synthetic peptides.
