Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) is measured in serum as part of the CY21 panel of cytokines. CY21 is composed of the following analytes: IL-15, GM-CSF, MCP-1 and VEGF.

The CY21 cytokine panel is used in various clinical scenarios including certain haematological malignancies.
