Sample sent to Centre for Infections, PHE Colindale for testing
Clinical details: 
HIV-1 RNA ideally should be detectable on the blood sample for this assay to work.
With low RNA load there is a diminishing chance of the assay working
Sample type and Volume required: 
10 ml EDTA plasma
