Enterovirus RNA qualitative assay.

Clinical details: 
Enteroviruses are members of the Picornaviridae family and include the polioviruses, coxsackieviruses A and B, echoviruses and enteroviruses 68-71 and 73. Enterovirus infections are usually sub-clinical but can cause human disease ranging from severe paralysis to aseptic meningitis. The genome is a single-stranded positive sense RNA molecule of approximately 7.5kb. The open reading frame containing the virus genes is flanked by conserved 5' and 3' untranslated regions.
