Description: 
Flow cytometry for HIV immune monitoring, CD3, CD4, CD8 counts. Test for internal HIV clinic (Harrison Wing) only. All other senders will be requested as 'Lymphocyte subset analysis'

Dependent on age. Available on request and on each results report.

Sample type and Volume required: 
Whole Blood EDTA. Minimum sample volume 1mL.
Turnaround time: 
2 working days. Urgent analysis available upon request, please contact the laboratory.
Special sample instructions: 

Test for internal HIV clinic (Harrison Wing) only. All other senders will be requested as 'Lymphocyte subset analysis'

Storage and transport: 
Store and transport samples at ambient temperature, do not refrigerate. Samples ≥48hrs old are unsuitable for analysis.
