Tracy Ellison

Chief Operating Officer

Tracy has more than 35 years of experience in pathology and laboratory medicine across the NHS and the commercial sector.

As an international healthcare consultant and director, Tracy has successfully led teams globally through complex organisational change, creating sustainable structures and metrics to measure improvements in performance. She has expertise in strategy creation and execution, as well as in delivering transformation to accelerate performance. A key focus and passion is to engineer end-to-end patient pathways to create predictability and improve outcomes.

Tracy is a Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Science (FIBMS), a Chartered Scientist (CSci) and a Six Sigma Black Belt. She was previously an assessor for ISO:15189, ISO:17025, College of American Pathologists (CAP) and International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ). Tracy is a panel member for BSI on the UK input into the revision of ISO:15189. 

Tracy is passionate about leading high-performing teams and creating environments in which colleagues can flourish. In her current role, she will utilise her skills to drive delivery of the new target operating model in South East London.
