Dr Paul Cane FRCPath

Dr Paul Cane is the Medical Director for Synnovis and is responsible for maintaining high service quality and patient safety along with providing advice on business development and innovation strategy.

Paul has been working full time with Viapath, now Synnovis, since October 2021, and has played a key role in ensuring our transformation plan and new Blackfriars Hub Laboratory meets the needs of the population it serves. He has a keen interest in the service development and research opportunities that will be unlocked once service transformation is complete. Previously he was a clinical director for Viapath for 6 years and a consultant histopathologist at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital for fifteen years.

Paul is also the appointed Caldicott Guardian for Synnovis.
