What’s in a name? The pharmacy of vitamin K

Summary

The Nutristasis Unit highlighted an issue in patients at risk of a bleeding and requiring reversal of vitamin K antagonists. The issue arises due to the availability of two forms of vitamin K from pharmacies, which have differing potency due to the way they are metabolised. One of the forms works and the other doesn’t!
